Spoil your pet with the softest cosiest bed they will ever have. They just love to curl up into the comfy wool and wrap themselves into a ball. Cats especially, like to feel secure while they sleep and love the walls of their bed to snuggle around them.
I personally handcraft each and every SnugeenTM with 100% fine 23micron merino wool. They feel incredibly soft and luxurious to the touch and your pet will love to snuggle into them. Merino wool is naturally hypoallergenic, antibacterial and humidity controlling, wicking moisture away from your pet’s fur. It also naturally regulates body temperature, keeping your pet warm in winter and cool in summer.
The Merino sheep breed origins are from Spain, but the modern Merino comes from Australia. Merinos are renowned worldwide for their high quality soft wool.
Before making each bed I prefelt the wool slightly to make the wool stronger. I then crochet the wool with interlocking stitches to ensure that the ed is robust and will not unravel or flatten out. Each bed is sturdy enough to last at least several years but please be aware that if your pet is prone to shredding their belongings then this bed will last for a shorter time.
To choose the best fit for your cat, measure them while they are sleeping. Small cats will fit a 16 inch bed e.g. siamese, american curl & rexes. An 18-20 inch bed will suit 90% of cats. For the largest breeds you may need a 24-26 inch e.g. maine coons.
For dogs, an 18-22 inch will suit a small breed e.g. yorkies, a 24-26 inch will suit a slightly larger breed e.g. pugs & poodles.
Your pet bed will arrive wrapped in protective cellophane wrapping and bubble wrap and will include care information.

Care Instructions: Hand wash in cold water with a little soap especially for delicate wool items. Allow to soak for a few minutes then gently swirl around a few times. Do not wash in hot water as the wool will harden and shrink. Gently squeeze out excess water, reshape and allow to air dry. You can also place it on a towel and sit in a warm area for a few hours. You can also dry clean merino wool.
