Shopping for gifts for a new baby can be so much fun . . . and soooo stressful. It’s actually pretty hard to guess the perfect gift for someone else’s baby. And you really do want to get the “the perfect baby gift“.
Sometimes the best gift can be a Baby Gift Voucher and let them make their own choice. Our Baby Gift Cards can be used online and delivered throughout Ireland.
But what if you want to get them something specially from you, a gift that means somethings, a gift that you have put thought and effort into. If you aren’t a mother or it’s been a while since your own children were babies, it can be hard to guess what new baby gifts would be best.
So here are some of my choices (based on personal experience) on some great baby gifts a new Mum will love.
Our Bandana Bibs come in a range of colours and designs and are suitable from birth. They are double layered with an upper layer of super soft cotton and an under layer of thick absorbent fleece – the ultimate dribble proof bib. Being cotton, you can just throw them in the washing machine, they are quick drying and still look good even after many many washes.
A good changing bag is a must for every new Mum. They are a great way to keep you and baby organised while out an about. We stock a range of stylish and practical baby changing bags so Mums won’t have to forgo fashion over functionality.
And what about new Dads. Have a look at our great unisex changing bag styles for Dads and Mums.
Muslin Swaddling Blankets and Muslin Cloths are a great new baby gift. Honestly, I use muslin blankets for just about everything, quick DIY bibs, burping cloths, swaddling blankets, sun screens for buggy or baby carrier, as a towel, as a spare cot sheet, nursing covers for breastfeeding in public and as a nappy changing mat when out and about.
You can never have enough babygrows or onesies for a new baby. We have fun print babygrows and baby vests, quilted layette sets and organic sleepsuits.
As every parent knows, babies will put anything and everything into their mouths. I am sure you, like me, worries about the chemicals used in baby toy manufacture. Mass produced baby toys are mostly made from PVC vinyl, a types of plastic with a host of chemical ingredients.
By contrast, organic baby toys are usually made from wood, wool or paper based materials. When you choose organic toys you don’t have to worry about any hidden chemical nasties.
I hope this post has helped you in your perfect baby gift hunt and if you have any queries please feel free to contact me or leave a comment and I will answer as quickly as possible.
